Artist Jeff Short is an electrical engineer by trade, but a true artist and craftsman at heart. 

 

Jeff has been woodturning and woodworking for more than 20 years. Using exotic woods, he creates pens, wine stoppers, duck calls, magnifying glasses as well as cutting and charcuterie boards.

 

But Jeff’s art expands well into other mediums beyond wood as he is constantly experimenting with new materials. He creates pens and other pieces from rifle cartridges, denim, deer antler, coffee beans, snakeskins, computer circuit boards and even shredded money. He loves exploring the possibilities of any medium and discovering new applications.
